Ag Generalist Instructor - Mitchell, SD
We're GROWING our ag program and need a great instructor to help! A teaching position at Mitchell Technical Institute may be just right for you!
Even if you've never considered a teaching career, you may have the skills and abilities we are looking for to fill a position as an Agricultural Generalist Instructor:
- Strong knowledge of basic agronomy and soil science
- Understanding of 21st century production practices
- Precision agriculture technology knowledge base: software and application experience with programs such as SMS, APEX and ARC GIS
- Mechanical knowledge as it relates to the agricultural equipment: hydraulics, electrical system, basic engine and powertrain operations
- Excellent communication skills

Mitchell Technical Institute is now accepting applications for a Campus Facilities Specialist. This is a full time, 12 month position which requires occasional evening and weekend hours. Candidate must have:

Vice President for Financial & Administrative Services
(Chief Financial Officer)
Mitchell Technical Institute is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. This is a full time, 12 month senior leadership position that reports directly to the President. Preference given to candidates who hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, and who have 5 years related work experience in Accounting or Business Management. Working knowledge of electronic accounting systems required, Jenzabar EX accounting system is highly desirable. Previous grant administration experience preferred. The CFO is responsible for efficiently and effectively organizing, developing and administering the comprehensive financial and administrative services of the Institute. Responsibilities include the processing of accounts payables and accounts receivables, student aid accounts and federal programs, multiple grants and using standard industry accounting procedures.
