Human Resources Coordinator (2499) (Full Time)

Human Resources Coordinator John Morrell & Co. of Sioux Falls, SD is seeking Human Resources Coordinator to support our busy Human Resources office. Essential Functions: Provide customer service to existing employees. Process employee change transactions and maintain employee files. Assist with the onboarding process for new employees. Assist with the offboarding process for separated employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, rules, and codes. Prepare, update and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and departmental communications. Update and maintain various information databases. Support departmental and site safety, quality, productivity, environmental and cost reduction goals. Utilize lean manufacturing concepts such as 5S, to identify and implement cost savings and process improvement opportunities. Provide administrative support to the department. Assist department managers with projects as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Details

Requirements: Requirements: Associate’s Degree preferred (in Business or related field of study) and 2-3 years of administrative support experience and/or training are required for this position. Prior Human Resources or manufacturing industry experience ideal. Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint. SAP and AS400 experience a plus. Ability to multi-task, prioritize daily work assignments, meet deadlines and manage time wisely with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong mathematical and organizational skills and attention to detail. This is a full-time non-exempt position; all applicants should be willing to work overtime as necessary to complete required tasks.
