What is Corporate Education? Corporate Education covers a wide range of training and re-training needs. Employers find our services helpful in the following areas

Training Programs Offered

Customized Training
Tailored to meet specific company training needs and using the latest technology available, customized programs are developed in partnerships with the company or organization requesting the course. Training may be held on-site or at Mitchell Technical Institute depending on customer preference and availability of resources. “mobile labs and simulators” are available for on-site training. This flexibility allows Corporate Education to provide service to all communities across South Dakota.

Applicant Based Training
These courses are developed based on public demand and are advertised at large for open enrollment. Courses may be non-credit or credit-granting, depending on the course. The applicant-based courses are designed to serve business and industry with employee training needs and for those individuals who may require specific skills training. Broad areas of training in this category include Professional Development, Trade Skills, Safety and Compliance, Human Resource Management, Healthcare and Computer Training.

Continuing Education
Corporate Education offers continuing education and certification programs for career fields that require licensure or recertification. The Director works closely with state and local organizations to identify industry training needs. Testing and certification includes ESCO, CETP, AWS, NATE and others.
