Brenda and John Janssen

The Brenda and John Janssen Scholarship was established in 2026 to honor their dedication and commitment to supporting future generations of students at Mitchell Technical College. Brenda previously served as an instructor in Mitchell Tech’s Medical Laboratory Technology Program where she shared her knowledge and experience with aspiring professionals. John has also been a long-time supporter of Mitchell Tech’s agricultural students, beginning with his career at John Deere and provided advisory support to these programs. Together, Brenda and John have demonstrated a strong belief in education, hands-on learning, and the importance of investing in students as they prepare to enter the workforce. These scholarships are awarded to second-year, full-time students pursuing a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or an agricultural-related program, continuing the Janssens’ legacy of encouragement and investment in future generations.
