Two long-time ag instructors at Mitchell Technical Institute, Myron Sonne and Larry Hostler, are retiring at the end of the school year. To celebrate their careers and bring together past graduates, a reunion and benefit auction will be held at the MTI North Campus, 821 N. Capital, on Thursday, May 6, at 6:00 PM. Many items of program memorabilia and other donated items will be auctioned off to benefit the Bryan Larson Memorial Scholarship fund. This scholarship is given annually to the student who places first in the livestock evaluation class. Brats and banana splits will be served. All graduates and past students of the MTI Agricultural Technology and Ag Chemical Technology programs are encouraged to attend.
