The 17th annual MTC Foundation Donor Reception was held on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The annual event is held to express gratitude and recognize the generosity of individuals, families, and businesses who have made donations to Mitchell Technical College throughout the past year. Donors are treated to upscale heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared and served by the students from the Culinary Academy of South Dakota. The culinary students showcase their skills and provide a memorable dining experience for the attendees.
In addition to the culinary experience, the highlight of the evening was the presentation of special awards to the donors. These awards serve as a token of appreciation for their generous contributions to MTC. The recognition ceremony is an opportunity to publicly acknowledge the impact these donors have made on the institution and its students. It serves as a moment to celebrate the collective efforts of the MTC community in supporting the college’s mission and vision.
This year’s honorees were:
Individual Donor – Terry & Deb Sabers
Annually recognizes an individual or family who has made a substantial single or multi-year commitment to an MTC Foundation initiative, a program, or a scholarship.
Corporate Donors – FS3 and Intelli-Core
Given each year to a company that has made a significant single or multi-year commitment to an MTC Foundation initiative, a program or a scholarship.
Donor Legacy – Agtegra
Honors a donor who has consistently supported the MTC Foundation.
Volunteerism & Service – Women for Success @Tech
Given to an individual who has given of their time and talent to the MTC Foundation.
