MTI Mavericks Rodeo Team won the team title at the NDSU Annual Bison Stampede Rodeo this past weekend. This is the first team title for the Mavericks. Kyle Hapney won the bronc riding for the second year and Blake Boysen won the All-Around (most points in two or more events), another first for a Maverick.

- Saddle Bronc Riding: Kyle Hapney first and Jim O’Leary fourth
- Team Roping: Klay O’Daniel with partner Tanner Miller of SDSU fourth and Jason Hapney and Jim O’Leary fifth
- Goat Tying: Shayla Allen seventh
- Steer Wrestling: Blake Boysen third, Chase Albers fourth, Jason Hapney sixth, and Evan Thyberg eighth
