Kayla Berry, Radiologic Technology II, from Interior, SD, took first place honors at a national quiz bowl event. The Association for Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT) conference held recently in Las Vegas featured a student challenge quiz bowl event with 365 competitors. Berry survived multiple challenge rounds to take the top spot.
At the conference, students and faculty attended seminars geared toward patient care, radiation physics, new technology, radiographic pathology, and various other topics.
The conference was attended by several hundred technologists, educators and students in radiologic sciences.
