The Mitchell Technical Institute Power Sports Technology program received an early Christmas gift with the donation of three new crate engines from Harley-Davidson and J & L Harley-Davidson of Sioux Falls, SD. The donation is valued at approximately $27,000.
According to Darin Maltsberger, Power Sports program department head, the donation was facilitated by J & L Harley-Davidson and the Harley-Davidson area representative. Jimmy Entenman, J & L Harley-Davidson, is a member of the Power Sports advisory committee.
The engines will be used as training devices for students. Harley-Davidson manufactures some of the best motorcycle engines in the world.
