Graduate Outcomes
Our retention and graduation rates are among the highest in the nation. Our job placement rate for graduates is 99%, with 94% of these graduates going on to work in their respective field of study. Our campus offers a small class size feel, which translates to high student/instructor engagement.
Scholarships
Mitchell Tech scholarships can be applied for through one application! Incoming full-time students may apply for scholarships between January 1st through March 31st of the year they will begin attending. Current students may also apply for scholarships, with their application window opening in October.
Cost
Mitchell Tech is truly an affordable college opportunity. Our cost per credit hour is $228, with most students also receiving additional scholarships or Financial Aid assistance. Mitchell Tech does not charge any out-of-state fees or rates.
Financial Aid
Our Financial Aid Department is available and ready to assist through the FAFSA application process, offering step-by-step instructions to complete the forms and answering any questions!
Safety
Mitchell Tech is highly focused on providing a very safe campus environment for all students, faculty, and instructors! There are a number of security cameras throughout campus that monitor parking lots, building entrances and exits, and walkways, as well as security personnel on campus.
Housing
On-campus housing through the Campus Tech Apartments is managed and operated by AJ Management with onsite management available Monday through Friday. Living on campus is optional to students and, therefore, is not a requirement. Admissions has more information pertaining to on-campus housing as well as local housing opportunities to assist with this process. Alcohol is not permitted on campus or in the Campus Tech Apartments.
Meal Plans
Mitchell Tech’s cafeteria is open through the Fall and Spring semesters between 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. Students may purchase meals using cash, card, or through funds placed on their Student ID. Students who have funds added to their Mitchell Tech ID before the start of the semester or in between semesters will receive a 10% bonus included in their account.
Connectivity
Michell Tech encourages student interaction and activities! We provide a variety of programs to connect our students per their interests, such as the Student Representative Board, Student Veterans Organization, Rodeo, Trap Club, Circle K, SkillsUSA, Intramural Sports, program clubs and opportunities, and more!
We're Here to Help!
Whether your child is looking into potential program opportunities or already on campus as a student, Mitchell Tech’s faculty and instructors are available to offer support throughout the process! Campus Visit opportunities are available through Admissions, as well as guidance in exploring higher education opportunities. The Center for Student Success is available to assist current students in a variety of ways including counseling, setting up tutoring services, peer mentoring, seeking employment, and guidance through various life experiences. Whether educational or personal, our primary purpose is to see our students succeed!
Technical Support
Our IT Department works with students who are having difficulties with their computers, printers, and peripherals. Although some of our programs require students to purchase a laptop from Mitchell Tech, purchasing a printer is not necessary. Printers are available to utilize for free throughout campus.
