Presidential Search

The Mitchell School District Board of Education and the South Dakota Board of Technical Education are pleased to announce the launch of the search for the 6th president of Mitchell Technical College. 

As a college with a national reputation and having experienced a decade of growth, these two administrative boards, along with a well-qualified search committee, look forward to finding a visionary leader. The ideal leader will display exemplary leadership skills, deeply value the college’s culture, and embrace an open, inclusive, comprehensive mission of providing high-quality technical education.

The search committee includes key stakeholders from Mitchell Tech, both administrative boards and the community. The search committee’s role is to manage the process up until it names its finalists to be considered by the MSD Board of Education. This board will have the final determination on the selection of the new president.
